Coordinating the construction
of high-specification vessels.

    Newbuildings

    Thenamaris is currently coordinating the construction of 12 newbuildings:

    • two Suezmax tankers at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co Ltd. (SWS)
    • six Aframax (LR2) tankers, three at Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) and three at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co (DSIC)
    • two MR2 tankers at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries
    • two LPG dual-fuel Very Large Ammonia Carriers (VLAC) at Jiangnan Shipyard in China.

    The tanker newbuildings being constructed comply with the latest industry requirements and are equipped with scrubbers and various energy-saving technologies for optimum performance. The two dual-fuel newbuildings will be fitted with a shaft generator and two fully pressurized deck tanks.
