Thenamaris is currently overseeing the construction of ten tanker newbuildings. The
newbuilding process is supervised by highly skilled teams selected by Thenamaris who work
on site and report to the newbuildings team at the company’s headquarters in Athens.
The LR2 newbuildings being managed have a total capacity of over nine hundred thousand
tons deadweight. They comply with all latest industry requirements and are equipped with
scrubbers and various energy-saving technologies for optimum performance. The vessels
will be delivered in 2025.
To carry out the construction of these new tankers, we are collaborating with globally
recognized shipyards Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding in Vietnam, Shanghai Waigaoqiao
Shipbuilding Co Ltd. and Jiangsu New Yangzi in China.
