The SAP Junior Consultant is responsible for the support of the existing SAP implementation as part of a team that consists of internal and external resources.
He/she investigates and troubleshoots SAP-related issues raised by business users via the ticketing system. He/she deals with issues that are related to the customization of the platform or its integration flows with other systems. He/she also implements preventive checks in order to maintain the system in good order.
The SAP Junior Consultant detects, actively proposes and documents requirements for enhancements and new developments in order to further enhance the system’s efficiency and effectiveness. He/she is actively involved in the implementation of such enhancements through performing relevant configurations and/or liaising with the external consultants and internal or external developers for implementation.
The SAP Junior Consultant is expected to gradually acquire an excellent know-how of the shipping business and the supporting IT ecosystem, including the company’s SAP systems and general IT infrastructure, in order to be able to support and be involved in their evolution.
